Thread: what happened to marandi

    We also felt Marandi had lost their special appeal on our last visit there. We later learned, while talking Aruba dining with Chef Dennis at Carte Blanche, that Marandi had kept the recipes, but the Head Chef had moved on to opened his own restaurant; Barefoot, which long time visitors remember is located in the original Marandi location.

    Hmmm, just checked out the menu
    We'll pass......sorry to say....great location, good service, short & not appealing menu. Hate to bash the place....

    Just a thought...

    Smaller menus = fresher ingredients
    Less food to keep on hand

    We went again last Saturday night and I have to say the four of us enjoyed it. Everything was really good and the service is always great. The martini's were the
    best too!!
