Re: Where to stay?

I like the Radisson. I've been to many places in the caribbean and I prefer not to do the all-inclusive in Aruba. It is a very safe island and has MANY fantastic restaurants. It's not like Jamaica where you tend to spend most of your vacation at the resort that you are staying. Whichever you choose for accomidations, I'm sure you will have a good trip. Aruba is wonderful!

Re: Where to stay?

I agree with Jenny, the Radisson is a beautiful hotel. I would not do the AI in Aruba, only because there are so many restaurants to go to. The cost of dinners go from reasonable to expensive depending on what you want.

No need to condemn any hotel because we all have different ideas of what we wnat in our vacation.

We have stayed at the Wyndham and it does have AI (we did not take the plan). We did not hear any complaints from people who did.

Good luck

We are at the Radisson in April

Re: Where to stay?

Bob, You have stated that you like to stay in "nicer" places. I've been to Aruba 3 times and have always stayed at the Marriot. We were never disappointed. I also enjoy nice accommodations. I have not stayed at any of the other resorts, therefore I cannot comment.

Re: Where to stay?

The Wyndham is a wonderful hotel. We stayed at the Mill across the street (we didn't want a highrise experience this time around) but we wondered over to the Wyndam for dinner and it is beautiful inside with alot of friendly staff. They treated us as if we had a room there. I highly recommend eating at Bloosms.
The Wyndham is also right on the beach and there is a bus stop right there too if you so desire.
No matter where you go you will have a fabulous time! The weather is perfect and the island is so safe with laid back and friendly natives. Aruba -One Happy Island!
