    Yemanja

This spot has been on our list for awhile. We managed a last minute reservation for an early time slot that worked perfect for us. Itís an attractive spot with multiple small rooms. We ate in what I would call a hallway of tables for two with windows to the other rooms. Each of the windows had hurricane lamps with candles lit for a pleasant atmosphere.

Tom ordered the stuffed pork tenderloin on a bed of risotto. It was stuffed with a mixture of assorted mushrooms and mascarpone and quite good. I went with the tenderloin steak onabed of rosemary roasted fingerling potatoes. It was topped with caramalized onions and crispy onion strings, served with truffle butter sauce; absolute perfection.

We we had a small communication issue with dessert where I ordered a snickertini (martini) and they served the snickers desert. No problem, we devoured that and then I got my snickertini. For anyone who is interested, this concoction is caramel vodka, chocolate liqueur, frangelico and irish cream served in a crushed peanut/chocolate rimmed glass. It is positively sinful!

So - here's what I would like to order - risotto with mushrooms & mascarpone with fingerlings & caramelized onion and the snickertini for dessert! I have issues!

Sounds like a wonderful meal Peg - thanks for sharing
