I am getting married in Aruba June 27th -- any advice on Crystal Breeze Band vs. Dynamic Sound? The info on the web is rather limited. Any info you have would be great - thanks!

I told my wedding planner it was very hard to determine which band you want when you don't live in the area and can't go and listen. That is why I am hoping someone on the board has some advice

otherwise I feel like just flipping a coin!

It IS tough not being on the island and being able to contact bands and get samples. I did A LOT of researching to find a band for our wedding. We ultimately decided to go with a DJ and we are very excited about it now. Feel free to PM me if you need any info from me....I will be more than happy to share my findings with you. It was a big decision for us as well. :-)

Thanks. We actually just booked Crystal Breeze. I trust my wedding planner and the research we have done, so we are keeping our fingers crossed that it all works out. From what I hear they are great entertainers, so we will see. We are also bringing some songs on CD that we are unsure if they will know or not. Thanks to everyone for their advice!

I have also signed up for a band today! It is scary not to know.. but being a Caribbean Island.. I am sure that there is not such thing as a bad one.. just because these people have that music in their blood! Believe me.. the Island people are fun..

Where are you getting married? I wanted something different. .so I picked the Passions Restaurant @ Eagle Beach. Nothing fancy.. but loved the atmosphere when visited the place at night.. is sooo romantic!!!

Are you pretty much ready to go? I am still working through many details.. I am running behind in many ways, but at least have the place reserved and ready to go!!

Hi all -

I was wondering if anyone could share their experience on either Crystal Breeze Band or Dynamic Sound with me. We are looking to book a band for our wedding next year and are having a lot of trouble finding any information on bands in Aruba.

Also, has anyone dealt with any other bands besides these 2?

Any information you can provide would be super helpful!

I have heard Crystal Breeze play many times. They are excellent! However, they are more expensive then one of the great DJ's located in Aruba. If you are on a tight budget you might want to consider having a DJ play for your reception.

if you ever need to sample bands again you can check sunnyrayaruba.com, there's a collection of snippets of the bands actually playing the songs.

It's a direct portal to available professional bands on the island, and you book directly, without the middle man. It may help with your search for the perfect band!
