Breakfast for the day after?

Hi,
I'm getting married at the Westin on July 11, 2008 (cannot wait!) and it is coming soooo quickly!

I'm wondering if anyone has planned to host a morning-after breakfast. We have about 75 guests attending, so it would need to cover this many people.

Does anyone have suggestions for some inexpensive options? Even a continental breakfast would suffice...

Please let me know any thoughts/ideas/experiences!!
Rachel

I am sure on of the hotels could pull something togethr for you. 75 people are alot !!
Maybe poolside ? Check with Dunkin donuts on the island and maybe they could do a set up for you...There are alot of buffets around, don't know the prices. Is it a weekend that you were looking for ? Salt and Pepper has a great, great breakfast, resonable, and good. Lots of local bagel shops, Paddocks downtown has a breakfast, Aquarius at the Ren has a Great buffet9 omlet station, salmon, ya know what i mean), Villa Germania is also good,...sorry to ramble....ANyway, someone else might post a good idea, BEST WISHES..............

Depending on where you are staying...you probably want something close. Here are two suggestions for breakfast in the high rise district. I never see them overly busy in the morning which is why I am suggesting them as you are 75 people.
Moomba beach restaurant advertises an inexpensive breakfast, it is on the beach (actually sitting on the beach)which is a nice idea. The other is Hadicurari. I know this is a fish place but it does a breakfast in the morning too!! It is an actual restaurant but also right on the beach. Very few people in there in the morning and it has a full inside room, an outside room with a covering overhead and if arranged for a large group ahead of time would be very nice.

Good luck!

Breakfast for Day After

With breakfast for 75 persons, I personally think it would be too warm to have breakfast set up on the beach. For dinner on the beach early evening for that amount of people, that is fine. The Westin has a wonderful buffet breakfast that they can set up in one of their ballrooms which would be my suggestion. To transport 75 people the day after your wedding would not be such a good idea especially if several guests are planning to leave Aruba that day or sleeping late because of a late evening the night before. Why not speak to your planner at Westin to see what the cost of a small buffet breakfast would be in their ballroom? Are you up to date with the amount of guests that might be leaving the day after your wedding? If the amount of persons is far less then 75 persons, you might want to consider having your buffet breakfast in the Westin's Sirroco which is covered, but outdoors. Also, the money you would save from transporation costs to transport over to lets say Moomba Beach, can go into the cost of the buffet breakfast.

Or, you can stroll over to the Playa Linda. I heard recently they have a nice 10 dollar breakfast buffet. I am looking forward to a trip over there, but have not had the time yet...

Thanks everyone for suggestions! I know, it is a LOT of people, but we are thrilled that so many want to join us for this special occasion!

I have looked into having it at the Westin, as that would certainly be most convenient, but the prices are actually very high.

My family has a timeshare at Playa Linda, and they do have a nice breakfast but not sure they can accomodate all of us!

Thanks again - I'll look into all of these suggestions!

Less than 3 months away!!
