Hi! Welcome to the Aruba.com Community Forum.

You can renew your vows on the beach! Even if there is a mass somewhere at 4pm on a Saturday there are plenty of other beaches available

I think the mass that you are referring to is the mass at casa del mar/aruba beach club. I do not think that the mass is on the beach there but is undercover , although not inside.

There re are so many places on the beaches for vow renewal! Are you looking for something small and intimate or something more elaborate?

    do you need an officiant?

Saturday Mass at 4 pm is at Playa Linda. DH said Mass was not on the beach but near the parking garage. Aruba Beach Club Mass is 5 pm Sundays on the Terrace just outside the Lobby going towards the pool and beach.

I've seen a mass several times on the beach next to Costa Linda on Sundays. I don't know if it is held every week. That is a large, open area of Eagle Beach. Perhaps that is the area that you heard about. I've never seen anything there on Saturdays, but there are much better spots along Eagle Beach for a vow renewal, so I wouldn't be concerned. You'll be fine.

I've been at Mass at Manchebo on the beach under a covered area. But that was either on Christmas Day or New Years day when I was there. I don't think it an every week Mass.

Casa del Mar has their Mass Sundays at 5 pm at Aruba Beach Club. I do not know about the other resorts. You can renew your wedding vows on the beach any time and any day of the week. We did it 3 times before sunset on the beach for our 40th, 45th and 50th. So, go a head and enjoy . However, please be aware that the locals love to enjoy the beach on the weekends and Aruba holidays so you are not going to get the privacy that you may be looking for on many of the beaches such as Eagle beach and Arashi beach. My suggestion is to renew ones vows Monday through Friday where the beaches will be much quieter.
