Thumbs up do i need a photographer

Will you engage a professional photographer if your wedding only consists of a simple tea ceremony, solemnization and wedding lunch of 1 table of family at a restaurant?

    welcome to the forum mary.
    imo , i would hire a photographer.
if you count on one of your guests (family member) to take photos, the photos may not be up to what you'd want.
do you have a planner to assist?

    Photographer

Even if your wedding is small, it is nice to have a professional photographer that knows Aruba and the lighting etc. There are many, many talented photographers in Aruba. The work that I am familiar with are Robert Arenz, Diane Keijzer and Angela Munzenhoffer. These individuals know their business, do excellent work and are very reliable. Don't wait too long to book as the Aruba photographers have busy schedules and you do want to make sure that any of the photographers you contact are available on your wedding day.

I would hire someone if you will meet the potential photographer beforehand. but PLEASE also have a back up (even if its just a guest taking pictures as well). If the moment is important to you that it is captured on film. With some photographers they will state that although they do not retain copywrite over your photos, they are ultimately not responsible if you end up without any photos.
