Great thoughts - Scammers have gotten more advanced lately. Its harder to tell who is legit.

my personal thoughts on this section, well to be respectful, i don't believe that vendors should be posting. i'm sorry it's not fair, for others on the island. many have very high credentials, but folk's who join this forum are swayed from self promotion and false post's,
and in many cases, you settle for less without a clue, due to this board's very strong following!!
if they want to advertise they should pay, my opinion is based on reading this section and discussing with top notch pro's on the island, who refuse to play games..
i'm sure many who read this post fully understand my personal thought's, other's are pretty upset, they know who they are?

speaking for myself, i care what he says.
he often has good advice especially as a consumer advocate and as a savvy financial person.

i thought that others would be interested in seeing the video.
nothing more, nothing less.

he has some very good things to say. imo.

Clark Howard is the host of the nationally syndicated consumer advocate radio program. He has a weekend show on HLN as well. Basically he advises consumers "how to save more, spend less and avoid getting ripped off."

Personally I have listened to him almost daily for 10+ years and our entire family has benefited from his advice. I like Andrea, use his website often for advice and info.

This week for example, he did a great piece on "The Best Travel Rewards [Credit] Cards". In the past I have also used his advice on hurricane recovery (for my parents) and elder care (for my 98 yo grandmother).

Fake Reviews

It is a shame when someone feels that they have to promote a particular vendor by posting a fake review! I feel that couples planning a destination wedding should not be swayed one way or another by another couples personal opinion as they have their own personal feelings on what they would or would not like for their wedding day. It is a pitty that some vendors feel that that they can post a fake review to get them business or encourage their clients to post a review on their behalf. There are some excellent reliable vendors in Aruba who work hard and do their very best to please their clients and I believe research on the internet is the key for the wedding couple to find the best vendors etc., and venue that will fit their budget, wishes and needs. If a couple has had a great wedding experience or a bad wedding experience, then by all means they should post on this forum and allow others to still do their own research and make decisions what will work best for them.

Just as bad as a fake review is a person/business that uses a web site to show amenities of a rental that is not 100% correct
