Happy Valentine's Day to everyone that reads this forum. Valentine's Day is very special to my husband and I as he proposed to me in my senior year of high school and gave me a small pearl ring because that was all he could afford as he was only 16 1/2. We celebrated our 48th wedding anniversary last month and want you guys to know that it takes a lot of love and patience to be married as long as we been married. . For those of you that are planning to be married or recently married, never take each other for granted as your love can get stronger with each passing year. Overlook each others faults and weaknesses because nobody is perfect. And...never try to change your mate because that is the person that you fell in love with in the first place. A good marriage takes a lot of work to make it a success. Remember that love brought you together and it is not just about your wedding day, but how you live your life together
