Is the resort not going to be conducting weddings AT ALL during this time frame?
Have you asked how much construction would impact your wedding?
If you are dead set against the resort simply because of this issue, the other resorts on the low rise section of beach are as follows from south to north:
Tamarijn All Inclusive
Divi All Inclusive (sister resort to the Tamarijn)
Casa del Mar (timeshare)
Aruba Beach Club (timeshare)
Manchebo Beach Resort
Costa Linda (timeshare)
All resorts across the small road from south to north
La Quinta (timeshare)
MVC Eagle Beach (small budget hotel)
Paradise Beach Villas (timeshare)
La Cabana (timeshare)
For a bit of info on DW's at some of these resorts
Remember too, in that the civil union will take place in downtown Oranjestad, you do not have to have your beach blessing ceremony on the beach where your resort is. All beaches are public and you can have your blessing where ever you wish.
Hi Courtney, I am the Sales & Marketing Director at Bucuti & Tara Beach Resorts. It sounds like you were, unfortunately, given incorrect information about our resort. The resort is not under construction next year, but our beach restaurant will be under construction during the months of May and June. For that reason we are not booking weddings during those two months. But the resort is open and there is another wonderful restaurant for our guests. In April there is absolutely no issue with a wedding at our resort. I hope this information is helpful, and I apologize for the confusion! We hope to host you for a lovely wedding on our beach in April. Kind regards, Tisa
Congratulations Courtney on your Aruba wedding next year. You are in great hands with Nashette at Bucuti and the beach is incredible. I love this beach for it is a long stretch of pristine white sand with hardly any passerbyers and has palm trees swaying next to the ocean. Tara Suites are impeccable, you have chosen a great spot to be wed.
Thanks to Sales & Marketing Director at Bucuti & Tara Beach Resorts for responding.
