the wedding is over and it was perfect!!
I am turning 30 this year, and i always intended to live my life an be independent, and was ok with that. but then my husband came along, and i let my guard down and we have made a great start to an amazing life together. i was not the typical girl planning my big wedding with lots of guest, so when we decided to get married, i wanted it to be small, under my terms.....and so very laid back, and it was!!
i used aruba weddings for you, and lorraine and roxanne are two sweet adorable girls, and do very well with there service. i'm sure they were taken back by me because i was so ''whatever'' or ''i trust your imput'' about things, i'm sure they thought i would become a bridzilla when i arrived on the island. but they made it very easy to say this is what i want and don't want, and they worked to make it perfect!
Paul was such a fun person, and made something that i found ackward very easy and the pictures are beautiful. we enjoy his company so much!
Rev Gibson is the same way, such a fun person! I loved making our ceremony about our love and life, and the beautiful surroundings.
i just can't say enough about these people, and how they made something that i found so intimidating and scary (for lack of a better word....or maybe that's the perfect word
) absolutely perfect. so perfect that we will probably do it again every 5 years! THANK YOU!
now for the future brides, with those questions. the dress, i got something from davids bridal and it was simple, but it still had netting under it, and was not too heavy. i survived in it! i thought for sure i would melt, yes i was warm, but it worked. i liked the dress and would have liked something more flowing, but i just don't have the body for flowing, so i took the chance and it workout. i didn't carry it on either, i packed it and that also worked. i just had it pressed when we got there. those are a few of the questions that i had that no one could really give me a straight answer on. so good luck!
