I am just back from my wedding weekend in Aruba and it was fantastic. Anyone looking to get married in Aruba has picked the right place to go.

For starters we had a great travel agent, Nikki Joyce from Liberty Travel (I have her details if anyone is interested). Originally we had plans to go with a wedding planner, who just didn’t work out. I don’t want to put out her name and company because when I complained about her a few months ago, my thread ended up being deleted. This post is just too important to risk it. So unhappy, I searched online with another planner and ended up with EDWINA WELERMAN with E2. Her services were wonderful. I was very nervous in planning long distance, but Edwina eased all fears and concerns by quickly responded to emails and messages. She even provides a US number for those unable to dial internationally.

We were able to finalize most of my wedding details (cake type, flowers, etc) within the span of a weekend. She was able to stay for the most part within my budget yet provide superior quality with her photographer, Diane Kijzer, DJ and others

Upon my arrival, Edwina went above and beyond by meeting me at my hotel (Tierra del sol) and quickly escorted me to were the wedding would be on the Tierra Del Sol properties. It was fantastic. The next afternoon, Edwina, the wedding party and myself went through a quick rehearsal of everything that would happen the following day at the wedding. She then provided her assistant to make sure that all my guest and me arrived at our WELCOME BBQ that she helped arranged as well.

The BIG DAY was great. Edwina picked me up and took me to The Radisson to get my hair done with Jennifer. I decided to get my makeup done while there and they were very accommodating to my high standards and again my budget. Unfortunately while there, a storm came through the area. People feared a hurricane would come through Aruba (this rarely happens) and Edwina suggested moving the wedding up. I agreed and she quickly called all her vendors and within 1 hour we were ready to move. I appreciated her not only looking out for my best interest but also being ready to act quickly and decisive. Making all necessary decisions and only calling upon me when necessary so I did not have to be bothered my mundane details. The wedding it self was wonderful.

The pictures were fantastic. I am sure Diane’s information has circulated around this post, but I must again vouch for her. Diane’s skill is phenomenal and her customer services are beyond this world. Not only did she take great pictures but also she provided me with CD at my hotel days later, so that I could take them home with me. I received more than I paid for, and at the end of my trip, we received special gifts from her. What a treasure!

In conclusion, everything was wonderful. We shall remember all these treasures for the rest of our life. Edwina, Diane Kijzer , even the sax player and the DJ was fantastic. Finally I must also say that I used Red Sail Sports for their private dinner sail as the reception and they were great as well.

I am so happy to hear you used Edwina as your wedding planner. I am getting married in June and I contacted Edwina because someone on here had put her name as one wedding planner to contact. So far everything is going great, but I still get a little nervous with us being so far away and having to do al our planning through the email. There are some wonderful photographers in Aruba that do great work as well as being highly reliable. Two photographers that I recommend are Diane Keijzer and Robert Arends. Both photographers go above and beyond the call of duty and provide excellent services. Also, Edwina Werleman in Aruba of E2 Events and Celebrations is an excellent event planner and have worked with her many times.
