Knipoog for make-up or on my own?

Hi all.

I have heard glowing reviews about Knipoog for hair and I am planning on using them. My question is how did folks feel about them for makeup? I am usually pretty minimalist with it and that is also what the fiance prefers. I am interested, but not sure yet whether to have them for make up as well. Any suggestions or reviews based on your experience, especially considering I don't want anything too dramatic?
