When was this fire and is anyone positive there was a fire? My daughter's wedding is in May 2008 at the Westin and this is the first we have heard of it. Please let us know anything you may have heard. Thanks.

I have been working with the Westin planning a wedding for 2009. I am not sure if it was a "fire" but the LaPalapa is no longer in existence. We have been told from many sources that it will not be rebuilt, hence we are no longer planning to have our wedding at the Westin.
I have photos of the area that they now call the Sea Breeze, rather pathetic looking. Please send me an email and I will be happy to share some photos with you.
