My wife and I were married in a beautiful room at the Town Hall on April 19th, 2007. It is now May 18th,and we have yet to receive our marriage certificate from The Department of Civil Registry. We have made several attempts, by phone, to contact the gentleman who married us without any success. I have sent an e-mail to him without any response. I have also faxed a letter to him, without any response.
Has anyone else had this problem? Or does any one know how long it takes to receive a marriage certificate?

If you have still not received your marriage certificate, we know the Civil Registrar very well and may be able to help you. If you used a wedding planner, it is the obligation of the wedding planner to obtain your translated marriage certificate for you. Please send a private IM if you need help.
