Is anyone getting married on the beach at the Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino in 2009? We have been going there on vacation for 6 years and it is such a great place. We are having a beach ceremony and reception there next year and I just wanted to chat with other brides that are planning their wedding there too! Even if you had your wedding there in the past, drop me a line!! :-) Thanks so much!

Hi there,

I too am planning my wedding for October 2009 at the Marriott. I was there this past September for 4 days & didn't want to come back home to the US. How's your wedding planning going? Aside from sometime the delay in email communication I'm very happy with how things have been going. I look forward to hearing from you

We just recently got engaged and are planning our wedding as well. We are hoping for Nov 2009. I sent a request in to the
Marriott Resort. It looks beautiful. Neither one of us has been
to Aruba before. Any details you could provide would be great.

Congrats on your engagement! Aruba is a fabulous place...you are going to love it. And the Marriott Resort on Palm Beach is beautiful!

LisGeo09 - when is your wedding? Are you having a lot of people?
I just got an email from the coordinator there with a document that
has a lot of information in it - ceremony pricing, etc. What type of reception are you having?

We are having our reception on the North Deck. They just renovated it....can't wait to see the finished product. Should be nice! We invited 70 ppl and we are thinking we will have no more than 50. We have 36 people booked right now. :-)

The contract I think you are speaking of goes through the Event Coordinator initially and then when that is settled, they will hand you off to the wedding coordinator, Desiree. She has been on partial maternity leave, which has made it difficult for us, but she will be back next week so it should work out great for you.
