Missing posts/deleted threads/banned posters

There has been a situation where 2 or maybe 3 or our community members have been on an "attack mode" to discredit some of the Aruban vendors...wedding planners, photographers, etc....vendors.

After checking isp's and realizing that 2 of these folks and maybe the 3rd are all one in the same.

Lisa and i concurred that enough was enough.

We banned all 3 usernames (quite possibly all the same person).

Please understand that we take NO joy in this.
You, the members of the community have been deceived by ridiculous postings.

Please understand that we want to give everyone a fair shot and be kind and understanding. We all love to hear the good, the bad and the ugly. We do NOT take any pleasure in having a member (using multiple ids) torpedo threads, businesses etc...

Please everyone take the time to read the rules and and read about impersonation and trolling. We used those rules as our guidelines when dealing with this situation.

I hate having to ban delete and be the heavy, but i will do as will lisa and liz, do what we HAVE to do to keep this community fair, equitable and informative.

I am really really angry about this I cannot speak for Lisa or Liz but I bet our combined anger could blast us to the moon.

I concur with Andrea that it has been an unhappy afternoon and rightfully so.

People's businesses are at stake and to voice an opinion is one thing, but to make a vendetta out of it is entirely different.

Especially in that we know both sides of the story and though not judge and jury, are following guidelines set forth by the Aruba Tourism Authority in THEIR rules.

As Andrea stated, forum members have been deceived and for that I apologize.

I should have "put together two and two" sooner.
