I wanted to take a few minutes to thank everyone who helped with my wedding on may 26th. my husband and i had almost 80 people in aruba for our wedding and everything went very smoothly ... it was better than i could have ever dreamed of.

we could not have done it without the help of our wedding planners, karen and edwina. they were there to help with every little detail. we had a welcome party, rehearsal ceremony, rehearsal dinner, civil ceremony, and beach ceremony. it was hard to plan events for 80 people, but they worked hard to make sure everyone was taken care of. they truly went above and beyond my expectations. we even met a few days before the wedding in aruba to review an iteniary of the wedding day. i felt so relieved that everything was being handled with such detail.

we were married at sunset by reverend gibson at the manchebo beach resort. i highly recommend reverend gibson. the ceremony was beautiful. we had it right on the beach in front of the pavillion.

we had diane doing our photography and she was amazing. we wanted photos of the entire wedding day up until the end of our reception at 11:30 pm. she ran around all night (and it was HOT) to make sure she captured all of the moments during the wedding day. we also had video of the ceremony and part of the reception.

for music, we had a steel drum band playing during our ceremony and the cocktail hour and then giovanni, owner of Grammy's, took over as our DJ for the rest of the night. he did an incredible job of getting everyone up and dancing. we had a very mixed group of guests and he was able to get everyone on the dance floor. people are still calling me to laugh about some of the songs that he had us singing... be sure to check out his club when you are in Aruba. we went on the kuku kanukuu bus a few days before the wedding and it stopped there at the end of the night.

our decorations looked amazing. i sent photos to our wedding planners of what i wanted my bouquet and centerpieces to look like as well as the color for our napkins and tie-backs for the chairs. they were able to accommodate all of our requests and the end result was beautiful. the cake was also just how i wanted it done and i did not have to worry about anything.

the staff at the manchebo was great. everyone was very happy with the food and service and the drinks were flowing all night! the music was so good that some hotel guests and staff even joined the dance floor.... it was hilarious!

i highly recommend everyone that i worked with. they made my day completely stress free. all of our guests told us that our wedding was the best they have ever been to. i still can't believe my eyes when i see photos... they look right out of a magazine.

thanks for everyone's help on this post over the past year... i was able to make so many decisions with the advice on this site!
