Question New to forum attempting to plan a 4/2016 wedding from the US

Hello everyone this is my first time posting to this site I've read some great threads and enjoying learning all there is to know about Aruba. I've been to the Island twice myself most recently this past May for a friend's wedding and now I'm planning my own. I am pretty much all over the place as to where. Looking to have a small wedding maybe 20-30 max (hopefully) I would like to keep it low key this is a second wedding for both. (We will be gettimg matried in the US so its more of a beach blessing?) Children will be involved We want to get married on the beach and have dinner after. No big formal affair. Would love any insight on restaurants and resorts that are reasonablely priced for families with children. Thanks so much and hopefully I posted in the right spot.

Welcome to the forum! You may want to post this in the wedding thread where it will get more exposure. We've seen a few weddings over the years and all were lovely. Hopefully, you'll get some responses soon from those who have bee through the planning.

Hi! Welcome to the Aruba.com Community Forum!

Amsterdam Manor is also nice for families and Eagle Beach is gorgeous for a beach blessing

    Happy planning

I am not going to hire a wedding planner do to tight budget and from what I've read most resorts have one I do love the gazebo they have at manchebo.. I've never actually seen the resort is that located near the low rise resorts?

I would say that most restaurants and bars in Aruba are family-friendly (i.e. you can bring kids) but some would be more conducive to children than others.

For a crowd your size, you might want to look at a restaurant like Gostoso as your group would probably fill the restaurant and the price/value ratio is great.

Jose, the owner, is also a wonderful host, has kids and might be able to do something special for the menu.

It is in the low rise, right after Aruba Beach Club if travelling from the airport toward the high rise area
