Hello Everyone! I am recently engaged, and have decided to plan my wedding in Aruba. I have only been there once but it was my favorite island!! We are getting married at the Marriot Resort Stellaris and Casino in Dec. 2011. I have only stayed at the Radisson so I'm not too familiar with that part of the beach, does anyone have any input they would like to add/suggest?

lots of folks LOVE the Marriott Hotel .......a great resort and a great spot for a wedding.

Welcome. Although I am still new here myself

You are going to love the Marriott Stellaris. We stay there every time we go to Aruba, and love it more every time. A friend of ours got married there, it was beautiful, so romantic! I will try and dig up pictures. But in the meantime if you have any questions about the hotel, maybe I can help.

Thanks to everyone that responded! I am a little nervous about planning all the way from NJ, but I am hopeful it will all work out!!! Arubaislove-pictures would be awesome!! Is anyone familiar with the types of flowers that are popular there that won't wilt in heat? Thanks again!!!

Arubaislove-did they have they're ceremony and reception on beach?

The reception was on the beach at sunset. The cocktail hour was outside, the reception was inside, I believe it was at The Tradewinds? Does that ring a bell from your research?
