Resorts getting back to you

Being familar with the catering staff and event planning staff at the resorts, I know that they are extremely busy people with a lot on their plate. Between the on site department meetings, meetings with clients and vendors, working on the events etc., they do try to respond back by email just as soon as they can. When a couple is planning a wedding they want answers ASAP and get pretty frustrated when they don't hear back as quickly as they would like. This is understandable! Rest assured, they will eventually get back to you.

Response

Thanks Karen. I understand a day or two or even three, but a week? Or having to wait three weeks for someone to get back from vacation? Seems like if they are that busy there should be some back-up support for them. Anyway -- thanks for the reply. I'm trying to be patient but would just expect a higher level of response from a branded 4 star resort. They respond really well before you sign the contracts. But yes, you're right, they do reply eventually... Seems like many of the people I've dealt with down there are either part time or take a lot of time off. Not that there is anything wrong with that - maybe that's why the island is so happy. =) Still, some disclosure of that would help me be more patient.

and the Raddisson..

I dont want to force my guests into all inclusive if they really dont want it too....

FWIW, just so you are aware, I am not sure if they have booking open yet for 2011, but the AI over the years is sometimes offered only seasonally at the Marriott or not at all.

I'm late to the party here, but was wondering if you'd posted the video of your ceremony online somewhere.... I'd really like to see how the Marriott actually does their ceremonies. Thank you!
