Please help with proposal

I know i already posted this once b4 i still need help. Im staying at the Marriott this summer and want to propose to my girlfriend will staying in Aruba. Any good suggestion on romantic spots? i would really like to just pop the question on the beach one day(probably the first day b/c i wont be able to wait). i dont think she'll expect that. she may expect it at dinner. do you think the hotel staff could help me do something special right on their beach? any advice is greatly appreciated. ive never been there b4. Thanks

All of the suggestions you already have are terrific.

Maybe try contacting the concierge at the Marriott to have them assist you in arrainging something special.

Only other idea I can think of is http://www.morningstararuba.com/ I would bet you they have had more than one wedding proposal aboard their ship!

i think you should turn to her upon arrival in the Imigration area where everyone is all lined up waiting to be "processed into aruba".

do it there in Immigration Hall

she will NEVER have expected it there!!!

i can hear the cheers now of all of the weary travelers watching and waiting for her to say YES,

on the way to the marriott, you will have to stop in o'staad and buy the ring.

Proposal

Andria has a wonderful idea. Propose in the immigration hall just as soon as you arrive. Your girlfriend will never expect it. Do it though before you get to the immigration booth Just get down on your knees and say " I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH, WILL YOU BE MY WIFE FOREVER AND FOREVER. I'LL BET SHE'LL SAY YES AND TEARS WILL BE RUNNING DOWN HER CHEEKS. EVEN BETTER YET, IF YOU HAVE NOT PURCHASED HER ENGAGEMENT RING, DO IT ASAP SO YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SLIP IT ON HER FINGER AS SOON AS YOU ARRIVE
WHEN ARE YOU LEAVING FOR ARUBA?

Cool Propose at the beginning of the trip/during sunset.

I would propose at the beginning of the trip as opposed to the end of the trip (it would take some of the stress off yourself and your future bride's vacation will be all that more enjoyable). I should also point out that the sunsets in Aruba are spectacular, hence you may want to consider proposing in the early evening. Perhaps you look into the Hyatt's sunset service (from their website):

Sunset Service
There's no better way to start your evening than reclining in teak Adirondack chairs overlooking the beach, nibbling on gourmet hors d'oeuvres and sipping a glass of your favorite wine. Consider this your own private happy hour, complete with a tuxedo-clad waiter to take care of every detail. Select your menu from an enticing selection of hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, wines, champagnes, chocolate dipped strawberries, or even a Monte Cristo #2 Cigar.

Sunset Service is located on the beach in front of the Palms restaurant. Proper attire: Black Tie to Black Bikini, whichever you prefer!

Click here to view our Sunset Service Menu.

Perhaps you could arrange to have your waiter bring the ring over with the hors d'oeuvres/champagne at sunset.

Cindyo has a great idea........if they don't upgrade you, at least you might get free alcoholic refreshments for the flight !!!!
See how my brain wanders.....vacation and alcohol seem to be the greatest way to forget work.......

my director at work (and today is my LAST day) always reminds us to 'think outside the box"

we have shown this young man, ready to propose marriage, that we are good outside the box thinkers!
