    Location to have welcome dinner

Depending upon your wedding budget Aruba has many wonderful restaurants that make ideal locations for a welcome dinner. Even if your guests are staying in Palm Beach, a mini bus can be arranged for restaurants that are great and located on Eagle Beach or even in the town of Oranjestad. For Palm Beach area, you might want to consider Faro Blanco Light House Restaurant which has a beautiful view of the island.

    Hello everyone,
We had similar discussions for our welcome dinner. We are staying with guests at the Radisson and getting married at the Bucuti, yet we wanted to take guests somewhere a little off the beaten path. Based on comments here, we have decided to host a welcome dinner at B55. They allow you to create your own menu from there standard fare and everything is a la carte yet fairly affordable. Our wedding planner has arranged for a bus to take all of us (30) there and back. We are really excited about trying B55 out and the setting looks pretty cool as well, even has a little playground for the kids. Also, email communication with the restaurant has been very responsive and helpful. Basically they will do whatever you want.
Best of luck in your planning!

my husband and i and a member here "sugar" are huge fans of B55.
the view is really interesting.......lots of birds and owls.

B55 is a great idea for a welcome or rehersal dinner

it is about 5 miles +/- beyond the airport.

if you are on a low carb diet........B55 is not the place for you.

B55 location...........heading towards San Nick.........go past airport and at the traffic light at the WEB and Balashi plant, turn LEFT.

I would suggest Nicky Beach, it's basically at the end of the airport runway, on the beach, they have a fabulous menu, great music and the decor mighty swanky.

Near by is MoomBa, and it is also a short taxi ride for anyone not up for the walk.
