Near by is MoomBa, and it is also a short taxi ride for anyone not up for the walk.

My personal recommendation for your rehearsal dinner would be Sunset Beach Bistro at Divi Phoenix, right beside the Westin, so a 5 minutes walk on the beach. http://www.diviresorts.com/diviaruba...et-dining.html

Amazing view, gorgeous setting, kid friendly and it's open air so you can be a as loud as you want, without bothering others. We covered a rehearsal dinner there last month with 67 guests from New York, so a "VERY" lively group, and they certainly enjoyed it, and we had no complaints.

Great places for your rehearsal dinner include Mathews at ABC resorts a roof over your head beside the beach, Passions at Amsterdam Manor ( Romantic on beach), Sunset Grill at Radisson overlooking the ocean from second level and lush gardens, jazz music and everything all in one roof. Indoor places- Buccaneer beside the 9,500 gallon aquarium with best in seafood and international dishes and El Gaucho (These two restaurants are the oldest and best on the island).
