Marcia,
I just sent you a PM with the price quotes I got. Basically, the Divi runs about $4300 - $4750 depending if you get the 20 person hummer to transport your quests to the civil ceramony. The only thing about the Divi, you don't really have any reception. The said a section of the red parrot would be reserved for us but there's really no "reception"

Ren Island ran about $6000 which included, civil ceramony, Beach ceramony, food, drinks and bartendars. of course the food can go way up depending on what you choose. As for getting to the civil ceramony, he said we just walk since it's right next door.

I'm still deciding but really want to do Ren Island. To me, having a wedding here in NH/MA would cost me $20K to 40K, so to spend $6000 to be on a beautiful Island would be worth it!!

We're getting married at the Rennaissance next July 2010. Maybe you should get a quote based on the number of guests to make a comparison with different venues. I like the Renn. because I'll be able to have a private wedding reception. It all depends on how you want your wedding to be.

You're having a wedding in Aruba...no matter where you choose it will be beautiful!!

Does anyone know if the Ren has a "honeymoon suite"?

I called the Ren and they do NOT have a Honeymoon suite. They do have some Exec suites at the Marina and run anywhere from $300 - $800 per night..They do have 1 Royal Suite which is at the Marina and has a balcony over the pool looking at the ocean that runs $800 a night!!!
