Restaurants

Hi,
I will be getting married in Aruba next month and was wondering where the best restaurants are to eat?
And where a great place for brunch would be.
Thanx

Best wishes on your coming nuptials!

For the food: Madam Jeannette, Chef's tables, Chalet Suisse

For the food+ fun atmosphere: Bingo!

For the sunset dining on the beach: Flying Fishbone.

I understand the Hyatt has a great brunch but we haven't been there (yet)

If you're looking for fun while you eat, check out the Black Hog Saloon BBQ Bash. It's about $45.00 per person but you get all the BBQ and Balashi beer you can drink. It's on Tuesday & Thursday nights. They also have mini golf and a mechanical bull. It's a good place to go if you feel like getting wild!!! Here's the website... http://www.blackhogsaloon.com/

I'm getting married in Feb in Aruba and this is what we're doing for our rehersal dinner.

Definitely the Hyatt for Sunday Brunch.

Sunset Grille

As you can see, Tiff, there are just too many good restaurants in Aruba.

By far the best restaurant on the island is Mathilde, a bit pricy but oh so worth it. I also agree with Flying Fishbone, Madame Jeannette's, ruinas del mar at the Hyatt and the restaurant at the radisson called Sunset Grille.

if you are looking for a low priced relaxed place try
PAM PAM

the restaurant and bar is situated under a giant palaypa
the menu is international

it can accomodate probably about 100 people

it is a nice location, quiet, laid back, relaxed and quite pretty

open air, but with coverage to protect from rain

all entrees are $9.50
beer is inexpensive $2 drafts
mixed drinks and fancy drinks are $4

the pan fried grouper is good as is the lasagna, the chicken or beef fajitas, and the chicken cordon b leu.

mixed salads and cesar salads good too.

if it were up to me, i would dine here every night while in aruba.

i have been told they have live entertainment (band) on occassion.
