I am having my wedding next summer and I am trying to find good hotel rates for my guests. Has anyone been able to get a good rate for a block of rooms at the high rises? If so did you have to put any money down?

If you have the wedding at the Hyatt they will mandate 10 rooms for 30 nights. We were married at the Renaissance and there was no mandate but the hotel gave our guests discounted room rates if we got a total of 10 rooms. We blew past that figure but understand if people reserve without using your code, the room nights won't count towards your figure. If you generate 50 room nights, the Renaissance will give you as the bride/groom, one free night. The rooms were about $80 cheaper per night through our code.
