So which AI is for us? Honeymoon Jan. 2012

I know there are like 4 or so.... I'd like to hear some opinions. We will be on our honeymoon.

We will each be 24 years old. We are from Houston, Texas. We both love sports. We both can drink all day. We both can eat all day, lol. Not too big on Casinos, but like to play when given the chance. We love sports. Price is not really an issue, but at the same time, i want the most bang for my buck .

We do want some privacy. But at the same time, we like to have a good time, and don't mind it being loud at times.

We plan to be on the beach/pool a good big. We are usally late eaters. The Riu is standing out to me the most?

any thoughts? Thanks!

i was leaning towards the riu for you too.

then the more i think, i would also have you consider the divi all inclusive.
the divi ai is more laid back.

both good spots.

have you considered renaissance marina tower?
they have an all inclusive, located downtown, has a great private island for beaching, good restaurant (lg smith and aquarius and the beach restaurant on the island)

you have lots of choices, not just my suggestions.

i cant say much for the other AI's but we went to the Riu around the same time you are going for our honeymoon and had a blast and the weather was great, no rain but extremely hot which we loved. We too could drink all day and we also were late eaters. The specialty restaurants are good and i belive they have a 6 and 9 oclock reservation and the buffet restuarant has so many differnent variaties that you cant go wrong. At night the poolside is unbelivable. Some of the excursions if you choose to go on like the Tattoo party boat, glass bottom boat ride, and other sailing adventures depart right there. Palm beach shopping is also a short walk from the hotel with a lot of interesting shops and drinking estalbishments. we've been back to the riu since our honeymoon and hopefully we'll be back there this year sometime. pm me if you have any other questions, be glad to help.

thanks for the tips!!

I've been looking at the Suite Jacuzzi Oceanview rooms at the Riu. Did you ever stay/see one of these? If so do you know if they are in the main building at the top? Are they worth it? having trouble finding pictures/reviews on these rooms. I think they only have 5 of these type rooms there.

Thanks for the help!

Yes they are in the main building, no we stayed in the regular ocean view room on the 5th floor of the main bldg owesome view by the way. I dont think the jacuzzi room is worth it for the price, but thats my honest opinion. keep up the questions.

Good stuff. So I assume the jacuzzi suites are just oceanview suites with a jacuzzi on the balcony?
