Stay at the Radisson- enough said.
For anyone who hasn't been to Aruba but is planning a trip there, STAY AT THE RADISSON. I read all the postings on this site before we left and was a bit nervous about where we were staying since nobody ever mentions it, but let me be clear- YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED AT THE RADISSON. We just got back from our honeymoon and we couldn't have asked for more from a resort hotel. The grounds are gorgeous, the rooms are quite large and the staff is incredible. I had never been to Aruba before, but I would definitely stay there again if we were to go back to ARUBA. As far as we were concerned it was the best thing (next to the weather and jeep excursion we took) on the island. They have a buffet breakfast (that you can either include in the room cost or pay for separately on a day to day basis) which is unmatched. The beach is the widest on the strip and the two zero entry pools are awesome- especially for lounging.
They have a couple open air bars and a restaurant (Sunset Grille) that are perfect. I know this may all sound a bit hokey, but I swear this is a legit review. We scouted out the other hotels while we were there and are still the most impressed with our stay at the Radisson. Yes- the Hyatt has incredible grounds and restaurants as well, but the room size and balconies at the Hyatt leave a lot to be desired. Take our thoughts for what the are- but trust me- try the RADISSON.
