Tables and Linens Rentals?

Hi,

I'm getting married in October 2010 and I'm having my reception at Marandi restaurant. I am going for a specific look for the tables and am looking for long rectangular tables, glass to go over them, and gray linens. I'm having trouble locating a rental company. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Tiffany

Linens and Things at Mirandi

I am surprised that Mirandi's couldn't accomodate you by renting the items you need. A wedding planner could certainly work with Mirandi's Manager to put your mind at ease. If hiring a planner fits your budget, I am sure it would be easier for you. As I said before, planning your wedding from so far away is difficult at the least and sure very stressful.

We are having our dinner at Mirandi after our beach ceremony in July. I am using Edwina as my planner and will inquiry about this and let you know what she says. I will also email Mirandi. I have not gotten that far in my plans but woudl like the table to look special. Have you been there before? We have such a wonderful time there last summer we decided to have our wedding dinner there.

Mirandi is a perfect setting for a dinner/reception. I can't believe they can't step out and help you on this one...best wishes, cindy

I emailed the restaurant and this was the response....hope it helps. I also have a few children attending and they will make plain pasta available for them "With regards to the table, we usually make one large one, and that is a challenge for the linen, but if you'd come by a little before, we'll go over the options with you, and show you what we can do to make it great for you! A large table like that is a challenge next to the water however, but drop by, and we will show you, you'll love it!

Looking forward to welcoming you here!"

Hi,

Just wanted to clarify that Marandi is doing a fantastic job, but I am looking for a specific color and shape for the linens and I know the selection on the island is limited.

I have contacted a couple of the bigger linen distributors and it doesn't look like I'll be able to rent anything like what I'm looking for.

I am looking for rectangular tables, medium gray linens, and glass to cover those tables. If by any chance anyone has ever used or seen anything like this suggestions would be great. But I'm thinking I'm probably going to have to ship the linens from the US.
