Weddings & Honeymoons Planning your wedding and honeymoon adventures?

Tipping Vendors
I was wondering if anybody could provide some information regarding tipping.

Our wedding is being planned by a wedding planner, so my officiant, photographer, hairdresser & steel pan player are being paid directly from her. Our reception dinner is at a restaurant, so it's not an issue.

What is customary to tip the vendors? Is it expected or not?

I have looked over the threads, yet I still seem confused. I guess a rule of thumb...tip for good service.

I am by nature a very good tipper, always tipping 20-25 percent for service. I suppose we will just have to go with our instincts.

20 days until we leave....can't wait!
