Tipping your wedding coordinator?

Hi everyone, my fiance and I are still in the early stages of signing contracts and getting everything in place for our Aruba wedding and I was curious as what is the standard tipping etiquette for a destination wedding? I've tried looking up this information but haven't found too much information. So far, our coordinator is doing a great job and I do plan to tip her but don't want to shortchange her or give her way too much for our budget.

Any advice on this? What have you all done in the past or plan to do? Some say they don't expect one, or a small gift and a photo of your wedding is good while others state 15% of the total. I'm so lost!

Thanks!

well the wedding coordinator is getting paid for his/her services.
are tips expected?
when the coordinator gives you references, check what other clients did for tipping.

karen luzker is a wedding planner and i a memebr of this forum.
if anyone can give you a clue it will be her.

Tipping Wedding Planner

Thank you Andrea As far as tipping your wedding planner or any service provider i.e. vendor, any additional compensation for extra good service is always appreciated, but not mandatory or an obligation on the part of the wedding couple.
