    Hiya Kerry,

I didn't realise at the start of this that I would have to do so much sorting to do at this end! I was hoping that the travel agents/wedding planners had more input.
I'm getting married at the Tamarijn hotel and contacted the wedding planners about photography details and they got back to me the next day. Im going to get back in touch with them about the documents our end. We are with "Aruba weddings for you". Send yours another e-mail, I'm sure they'll get back to you

    Good luck, Leigh

Lol, we are all bridezillas at the moment, I'm sure everyone understands. My partner has no clue that I am organising, photographers, talking on forums, emailing wedding planners! It's alright for him!!

Hello ladies...this is my first post on this forum. Been looking around and kept coming to this thread. I was married in Aruba 6 years ago. My husband decided he wanted to surprise me with a wedding ..sorta go on a regular vacation..get off the plane and say "Oh by the way..we're getting married today". Very romantic thought..but when he started to investigate all the paperwork that was involved..he was forced to tell me and then proceeded to dump all that in my lap. The paperwork was daunting...we even had to have one of the documents (maybe the Impediment thing) or whatever it was drawn up...I contacted every agency, government and otherwise, and no one had ever heard of it. My local Representative came to our rescue. We had Michelle as our wedding planner..I don't think she doing that work anymore...but she was wonderful. I also had help from my sister-in-law who was going to be there. She hand delivered my papers for me one week before our wedding.
You also have to remember that it's Aruba..they are calmer than we are...lol. Your's is not the only wedding either. Since your weddings are farther out...I'm sure they will be in touch with you on a steady basis when it's closer your turn.
As far as music...Michelle had a boom box and we had taped music...I think we actually had the wedding march and everything. To tell the truth...I don't remember the music...I was to excited I guess. But taped music is what our planner did for us. She did everything....it was the best thing we ever did.
After the paperwork is done....which is the hardest part...you all should have smooth sailing.
Good luck on the upcoming nuptials...

Once all the paperwork is in place I will feel a whole lot better and will be able to enjoy.... I haven't even got that much to do as it is only me and my partner going I'm sure it will all fall into place.

Michelle is wonderful, but true, she is no longer coordinating. I did shoot a renewal of vows with her husband Reverend Andy Osborne last week at the Marriott Surf Club. It was amazing!
