I am having difficulty figuring out how I am going to transport my dress. I spoke with someone from the airlines, and they told me I would have to put my dress in the overhead bin. I was wondering what other brides did with their wedding dress, and if they put it in the overhead bin, was it really wrinkle?

If I remember correctly from past posts, the stewardesses helped many brides with their dresses by storing them in a hangup area. I know others out there have had experience. Good luck and best wishes with your wedding. cindyo

I was able to carry my dress onboard and was graciously allowed to hang it in the compartment up front on each leg of our flight. I have seen several others post here that they were given the same courtesy. They'll see you coming with that big white dress bag and will sometimes offer before you even get the chance to ask!

Thanks for all the advice, I was beginning to get a little nervous. I don't need any extra stress at this point, I leave for Aruba on Sep. 10th.
