I am getting married at the Marriott this august and I was looking for a recommendation for a hairdresser/salon or if anyone knows someone that will come to the hotel to do all of the girls

The marriot should be able to set all of that up for you. i would go through them. good luck and congrats!

Any of the stylists on the island will usually come to the room to do hair. i used Andy with Tierra del Sol and he came to my room. I was very happy with how he did my hair. you can also try Maggies Salon. I've heard a lot of good things about them and they just opened a new salon near the marriott. I think they come to the room to do hair. Although my wedding is not until next May, I am doing alot of research in advance. How much should I estimate to have a stylist come to my hotel for my hair? I know style and length will vary the price but a ballpark estimate would be so helpful.

I am sure they all vary. In 2005 when I got married at the Radisson - I think it cost me $125 for me, and two bridesmaids. I had mid length hair and had a messy updo - I thought it came out great and much cheaper than I expected.

who did you have come to you room to do it....that's what i am hoping to do?

I think my hair stylist came from the hotel./ To be honest I am not really sure. I worked it out with the hotel coordinator for the reception. She came right up to my room. I had a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like and it came out exactly like it.

Anybody ever use the spa at the Marriott....my wedding coordinatorsaid that is where everyone goes but they have not been all that helpful in trying to get information/booking appointments? If you have had your hair done there would you recommend any of the haridressers in particular?

My hair was $100 and each bridesmaid was $50. My wedding was on a Sunday though so I think they charged us a little more than usual.
