Aruba weddings for you made all the arrangements. and it was spectacular. we had the ceremony at the phoenix(first hig rise on the beach. it was very nice, sunset wedding. I got married at the Hyatt August 2003. We had our ceremony on the beach at sunset. Of course it's your own preference but I don't think the beach was tacky at all. We had about 28 guests with us. Our reception was on the beach deck, but if you think that the beach deck is too large their is a small area behing the beach deck,outside the ballrooms that would be a little more private then the Ruinas as that is right in the middle of the main walkways of the hotel and the pool is right across.
