Hi Kathy-
I am having my wedding this year on New Years eve. I can tell you the government will close for vacation the Friday before Christman (this year Dec. 19) and re-open on Jan 5. They will not perform civil ceremonies during this time. You definately want to contact a wedding planner here to get next years exact dates, and start about 6 months before trying to get the paperwork they need.
