Wedding Watching

Well this is not actually a sport or activity more people watching I suppose.
Its something I like to do every time I go to Aruba .
Its just befor sunset and I start at the top of the highrise beach and pass every Hotel,you must make sure of the time very important the Time.. otherwise you will miss it all then you have to wait untill the next Sunset...
Then you will see The Romance of all the Sunset Weddings . Its all is quite something, all the chairs and tables set , the Arches the ribbons the flowers waiting for the bride and groom. All the lovely dresses, outfits which are never the same , Bridesmaids in lovely colours,Proud parents freinds family . and nearly all bare feet in the sand ,Is it to late to renew my weding vows.!.
Which Hotel had the best bride none they are all wonderfull, Perhaps this is a girl woman thing to do .But who knows this sunset walk , hand in hand walking down the broadwalk .You may get asked to renew your vows just because of the ROMANCE.May be worth a try .

Wedding watching is kind of interesting for ideas. I always wonder though why people actually take pictures of the couple. During my wedding people would walk by and watch which was fine. That's until they started taking photos...I mean what do you do with photos of strangers?! There was one lady that at least asked.

I took a photo or two (from afar) on the beach of a couple getting married. For me it was just part of the beautiful experience of Aruba. You could not see their faces in my pic, just cool to c.

I, too, watch if I'm at a hotel beach. but like andrea said, stay away -I'm usually at the beach bar, lol. Don't get in the photos. Remember, would you like someone to be at your wedding and jump in the photos?

After we had a vow renewal on the beach (just the two of us, the minister and the women who set it up for us taking pics with our camera), a couple sitting about 40 -50 yards away came over and offered us wine that they were drinking. The women was so happy to be the first to congratulate us. I think she was disappointed that it was a renewal. But it was very nice of her, and we did not feel she was too intrusive.

My personal opinion is that a wedding is a very private thing and the bride and groom do not appreciate spectators going out of their way to find a wedding ceremony. It is one thing if people are already sunning themselves on the beach where the ceremony is taking place, but please stay far enough away as to not get in the way of the ceremony or photographer. A little courtesy goes a long way .
