I know nothing about them, but just out of curiousity, why would you consider them when there are so many reputable wedding planners on the island of Aruba to give you the personalized service you will need?

You said you were already working with Indira. If you are unhappy with her there are others.

I have had several telephone calls from travel agents from DestinationWeddings.com picking my brain for wedding planning information. They would tell me that they have a client that wants to be married in Aruba and wanted civil ceremony information and suggestions for the beach ceremony and reception. What I found out was that they actually deal will ALL DESTINATIONS and did not have a clue about what is necessary to have a destination wedding in Aruba. The first couple of times, they fooled me and I would be very curteous providing them with information. But then I realized that they are just travel agents and not true wedding planners. None of the people that called me have ever even been to Aruba!

This is true... DestinationWeddings.com is not a wedding planner. I am still going to work with Indira. Dest.weds just takes care of all our guests travel and does the booking and focuses on the details and works with my coordinator as well. I've heard good things about them from Indira.
We have about 40 or more guests that will be coming from all over the US and I didn't want to deal with getting quotes from all diff locations and finding best rates and booking them, so they do all that for me.
Check out their website...

If anyone has used them, i'd love to hear your experience.

We are using MCM Tours to coordinate travel for our family of 10 to Aruba from 3 different cities on Saturday. Dh and I have been using them for our Aruba travel for over 8 years now and have found they always have the best price and service.

I started dealing with destination wedding when I first was engaged. I was not happy at all with their services. My planner was switched on me, and the one thing I wanted her to book me was the date why we planned so early in advanced. She assured me everything would be fine. We'll when it came down to one year, I still didn't have a date, and I decided to do the work on my own, and find someone in Aruba. I worked with Indira, and she was amazing! We got more down together than what the other company offered. She also got me in contact with a great travel agent for my guests to go through. Good luck with everything!
