    Smile 1st time to Aruba.

    Hi All

I have been reading the treads for a couple of weeks. Have learned alot from you all. Going to Aruba in October for the 1st time. I am excited. From what I have read there are not lots of kids there in Oct. I think we picked a good time of year to go. Any suggestions. I would be glad to hear them.

    Thanks

Welcome... once you go to Aruba you will be addicted to the island. Great choice of vacation spots! Where are you staying?

welcome to the community forum of aruba.com.
october is a deeelightful time of year to visit aruba.

    october is considered low season.

weather warm, breezy and usually sunny.

restaurants will be quiet some of the real popular ones you will still need a reservation. "madam janette, flying fishbone, driftwood"

    resorts will be quiet too

October, November are NICE QUIET times to visit aruba.
    Quiet yes, boring-.......no way.

all school aged kids are back at school so that is a plus (imo)

surf around the threads and read lots and ask lots too.

many of us here will try to answer your questions and guide you in the process of becoming an aruba addict.

(the only fix is repeated vacations on island)

    dont worry, be happy

DONT GO TO ARUBA! Once you do nowhere else will do. You will be hopelessly addicted. I have to say, our first trip was in July and the island had many children on it... many in fact live there. It is the kind of place that is soooo laid back nothing bothers you, even kids. I happen to have 3 and I have survived! Go and have fun, you will never want to leave!

Well several of you say I will be addicted to Aruba. My husband will be happy. It has taken him awhile to get me out of the states. 52 days and counting down.
