1st Time to Aruba

1st Time to Aruba
My wife and I will be traveling to Aruba for our honeymoon on 9/27-10/5.

Staying at the Westin on the all-inclusive package in a Ocean View Junior Suite.

It is the first time in Aruba for both of us and was looking for some information:

Is the Westin a good place to stay?
What are the restaurants like in the Westin?
What are the best casino / shows to see?

Thanks!

congratulations and welcome to the aruba community forum

westin is a nice property!

please look thru the culinary/culture category for reading on restaurants.

the only restaurant that i can review at the westin is BLOSSOMS, but it has been a few yrs since i was there. it was wonderful though!

casino.........well it would happen to be the one where you win.
we have never won at the westin. sometimes have won at alhambra in the lo rise area and the marriott. you will have many casino choices.....westin, marriott, hyatt, occidental, radisson, holiday inn, key largo, alhambra, renaissance seaport and crystal.

go thru our categories and look around.

enjoy

Congratulation and welcome to the Forum. I love the Westin, great management, great pool area with Concierge services, and the restarurants where great 2 years ago under Wyndham and no changes under Westin. I have had lots of clients/friends who have stayed and said it was even better than the Hyatt.

Westin Stay

As a resident in Aruba I have seen the hotel change hands from Wyndham to Westin. I have to say it is a great view off the jr. Suite because I have friends who stay there twice a year. Staff is curtious and concergie are very helpful. The pool is nice and has recently been upgraded and the rooms were also upgraded, Very nice recommendation on Westin I have to say and I know you will love it...
I have only eaten at Blossoms which is my family favorite on Sundays, make sure to get reservations.

Enjoy your vacation
