1st Time Aruba Traveler

Hello,

My wife and 1-year old daughter will be traveling to Aruba for ten days in January (15th-25th). We both work for the U.S. government and are long overdue for a vacation. We will be staying at the Marriott Ocean Club. Have read many threads and appreciate all the information that has been posted.

Sincerely,

Bjorn & Paula

Welcome to the forum. Have stayed there many times; I have no doubt that you will really enjoy staying there. The staff...like all the people on Aruba...are extremely friendly; courteous; and willing to help you in anyway they can.

Have an absolutely wonderful vacation.

MARRIOTT OCEAN PRAISES

I was sitting beside a woman mid week at marriott casino.
She is a nurse from hingham ma. Her grandchild traveling with
her ( they were a large family group staying at ocean club).
This woman told me her grandbaby spiked a fever of 106 and
an ocean club employee was instrumental on getting this baby
immediate treatment. She said o ver the next few days the stAff
waited and doted on them all. She said she will always be grateful
for marriott ocean club's being so helpful. Btw the grandbaby
had an ear infection.

Welcome to the forum. We have stayed at both the Marriott Surf and Marriott Ocean Club properties and prefer the Ocean Club. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the venue is terrific, situated between the hotel and the Surf and within walking distance of all the Palm Beach area restaurants and shops. Have a great stay.

You should feel very comfortable at the Marriott. I have stayed at both the Surf and Ocean clubs a few times and will also be traveling there with my 1yr old in Feb and that is the one thing I haven't stressed about. It is very kid friendly.

Can't wait to hear about your trip!!

PS. My husband I also both work for the government...so I KNOW what you mean.
