1st Time - March 2010

Hello All:

My family just booked our first trip to Aruba for one week in March 2010.

My wife and I with the two little ones will be staying at the Renaissance Ocean Suites. We plan on sending most of our time on the beach. Can anyone recommend sites that we can visit for the kids? Places to eat (which is always a challenge with the youngest)?

Thanks in advance

Nick

Welcome to the forum.

There is some excellent info in these threads

Our most recent visit to Aruba included a stop at the Donkey Sanctuary. It was a big hit with kids and adults alike.

We too stay at the RENN. and done so for 13 yrs in a row...
kids places to eat nearby..Plaza Cafe at the Renn. marketplace, Casa Tua up the street, The Paddock on the waterfront, Taco Bell at the marketplace, El Gaucho, noisy place for steaks and good for kids, Tomato Charlies, Hard Rock Cafe, Pinchos walking distance, Aquarius buffet at the marina towers...
You didn't day how old the kids where so here's a few other ideas; butterfly farm, Jolly Pirate boat cruise, movie theatre...
THe boat ride to the private island is perfect for the kids. The island itself is safe and fun for the kids. Rent a kyak, mat, walk the nature walk, tennis courts, lay in the hammock...
