    2nd Trip!

    Hello all,

I posted In this forum about 6-7 years ago when I was a college student visiting Aruba with his family for the first time. Now, I'm engaged and returning for a 2nd time. I had a blast on my first trip, and I owe a lot of that to this forum. Now that I'm returning for my second time, I read through a lot of the insights and opinions shared throughout this forum. I want to post my potential dinner options and activities and see if you guys have any suggestions or insights. WE are coming for 5 days, arriving on the 15th and leaving on the 20th.

For activities, I am considering the following:

Paddle Board Yoga (definitely doing this one)
    ATV
    Horse riding on the beach
    Renaissance island ˝ day trip
    parasailing/wind surfing
    Paddle boarding (with classes)
    Yachting (any suggestions on companies?)
    Trikes

Snuba (is depalm island the only one that does this?)

And for dining i have the following:

    Flying fishbone
    Atardi
    Faro blanco
    El gaucho
    Wacky wahoo’s
    Madam Jannette
    Chalet suisse
    Barefoot
    Yemanja Woodfire Grill
    Elements
    West deck
    Wilhelmena
    Beachside
    Ricardo’s

We are looking for really good food combined with beautiful scenery, from exploring the threads in this forum this was my list. I am staying at the renaissance, if that has any relevance.

    Thank you all so much!

Welcome to the forum! Regarding the activities...... save some leisure time for just holding hands with your fiance on the beach! A couple of noteworthy romantic dinners would be Madame Janett's .... nice atmosphere esp after dark and Elements for a wonderful sunset dinner... without feet in the sand.

    i agree with CP!
don't overload with activities as you need much beach time.

do your paddleboarding thing AND take a sail with " tranquilo"

    restaurants...
Madam Janette for outdoor garden romantic dining.
    Barefoot for beautiful beach dining
do some lively dining too...Ricardos, Local Store,

do you remember your user name from 7 yrs ago?

We've done the snuba at de Palm nd for a 5 day trip, I wouldn't waste my time there. Have you considered Tranquilo for a snorkel/sail? Based on the activities you have listed, it might be a good fit. There is another company called Aruba Outdoor Adventures that have some pedaled kayaks that you may like.
Not sure when, but we will be back

As you will only be there for five days, you will want to cut down on the list of activities. Save some for future visits, and you will also want to schedule in some down time to just sit back and relax, the last thing you want to do is return home tired. Hopefully for your next visit you will extend it to somewhere between seven to ten/twelve days or thereabouts.

Welcome to the forum. Like most recommended. Do an island activity and then just R&R on the beach..
Some fun time at night. Happy hour is always fun.
