Just got my vacation vault today. Also I'm trying a dry bag designed for digital cameras for underwater shots. It's supposed to be waterproof to 33 feet. Hopefully that isn't 33 feet from the store. I will let you know how that works out. I am bringing my own snorkel gear this time. Now that I know where to go, those excursions on the catamarans seems like such a waste. Especially when going with kids. They are obviously not drinking but they are paying the same price as someone that is drinking. And you can spend more than the 20-30 minutes that DePalm or Pelican allows you to snorkel in each spot. I got some snorkel vests also at a pretty good price on amazon.
Are there any recommendations on snorkel spots to hit past the high rises. Are there areas or facilities to leave your stuff in a relatively safe area?
You'll find me at LaCabana on the volleyball court in the afternoons of week 27. Stop by for a cold one. I will have the only Phillies hat on.
