Another Hello from GA

Hi All!
My husband, 14 year old son, and I will be making our first trip to Aruba in about a week. We are staying at the Tamarijn. Any helpful hints/advice would be greatly appreciated
Arubalisa-I sent you a private message yesterday with a few questions. Let me know if there is a specific area I should post them. I'm still learning my way around the community...
Thanks everyone,
Michele
P.S. I've enjoyed reading the posts here. There's a wealth of great info!

Welcome and hello Michele, sorry I never received the message. Do you want to check your sent folder and see if they are still there and post them in the hotel category? Or you can send me another PM.

Thank you!

Thank you, Andrea and Lisa, for your wonderful advice! I appreciate you both taking the time to answer my questions. Hopefully, here are my last two:

1. Can you offer suggestions on how and where to rent a cell phone?

2. Is dialing an 800 number from your Tamarijn room free? I'm guessing it's not but I wondered if I could use a long distance card through a toll-free number?

Looking forward to updating everyone when we return,

Michele

Luggage Lock?

Thanks so much for the cell phone info! Should we get TSA approved locks for our luggage? We never lock them when flying in the US but are not sure about international travel...

I used them last year and had no problems. You just never know who is going to go through your luggage, I hope this cuts down on that. Just don't put anything of value in your checked luggage.
Have a GREAT trip!!
