Aruba Bound September 13th!

My fiance and I will be landing in Aruba on September 13th and staying for 11 days. By that time she will be my wife. This will be our first trip to Aruba and we are looking to meet and make new friends. We will be staying at Amsterdam Manor. Any tips and suggestions for our visit would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Jeff

congratulations and welcome to the forum.

take some time and look around especially:
aruba general
things to do/activities
culinary culture

then post some specific questions or observations.

you will love amsterdam manor and you should plan on dinner on the beach at PASSIONS right there!

will you have a rental car?

do you snorkel?

are you beach bums?

We are still trying to decide on the rental car. Neither of us have snorkeled before, but are both eager to try. I'm sure we will spend a few days on the beach but we would like to see as much of the island as possible on our trip without feeling like we're on an agenda.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

a few tips
(get your notebook ready)

try an island tour in a very comfortable SUV with cerry
www.pitaruba.com

have at least one dinner on the beach (PASSIONS) at amsterdam manor.

go to the daily happy hour at amsterdam manor beach bar

borrow some snorkeling equipment and learn to snorkel right there on eagle beach and in amsterdam manor's pool then........
go on one of the snorkel/lunch sails tranquilo or jolly pirates
tranquilo is calm and quiet jolly is a bit more lively including a rope swing
food and drink plentiful on both.

to be continued ;-)

Passions is a terrific place for a nice romantic dinner. We celebrated our 10th Anniversary there. Our first trip to Aruba was our Honeymoon in September 1998. Make reservations so you can get a table on the beach.
