Welcome to the forum, you will love it at the Tam,(& of course Aruba) ask for the 1300 building, ground floor, can't do stairs. Use the golf carts to the sister resort, Divi Divi, Casino, and the restaurant Windows on Aruba (great sunset views & service for $30pp). Paparazzi at the Tam has cold ac, Red Parrot at the Divi, also good food. For these you want to make reservations. Any ?'s. PS it's good to talk to yourself, you always get the right answer!

Thanks folks! it will be my husbands 60th birthday while we are there and I have made a reservation at passions! Is 1305 a ground floor room? If so I'll try to reserve it either directly or via the travel company. I know it's ages away but I'm excited! Even though I hate leaving our dogs! Starting the Bikini diet any time soon!!! saving up so might have to eat less any way hey bonus!

Yes, 1305 is ground floor in the 1300 building and the room we had in December.

1305 yes, and I think that one has a palapa just outside the sliders, put towels out early, or someone from upstairs will be sitting just outside your sliders all day. You will wake up to a fabulous view 50 yards away from the water. Passions, nice place, Windows on Aruba is enclosed for those windy nights, and also very nice, $30pp is a huge discount by staying at the Tam.

1313 has a palapa directly out the door, as does 1307. The one in front of 1307 would be catercorner to 1305.

I have photos of the outside of the 1300 building at
http://www.arubabound.com/photos/htl/tamarijn/tamarijn_building1300.htm

Click to enlarge the photo above and it shows from right to left, ground floor, rooms 1313, 1311, 1309, 1307, 1305, 1303. 1301 has the set back thus is not visible in the photo.
