First time in aruba planning on going september 24 2012

My soon to be husband and I plan on going to Aruba for our honeymoon from septemeber 24-oct 2..Im very worried about the weather..does someone have an idea how the weather will be around that time? I understand its outside the hurricane belt but many say it rains alot in september...Also looking for a hotel preferably all inclusive (Romantic, candle light dinners on beach, massages, fun activities to do) I would really appreciate your help thank you.

My husband and I honeymooned in Aruba at the Divi All Inclusive in December. It rained everyday, but we still came home with the best suntans. The rain typically is a shower that lasts no more than 10 minutes. We live in Miami, and are used to the hurricane season. The airport is really the only place you have to be concerned when you are travelling to Aruba during the season (delays and cancellations, etc.) The island lies outside the hurricane belt, and occasionally, there will be some effect from the outer bands of the hurricane, but really its just a little more wind. I have been there in December and August, and we are going again this coming week!
Now on to the Divi. The Divi is really nice, beautiful stretch of beach and the hotel has beach front rooms, like 20 steps to the beach! If you tell them when you check in that you are on your honeymoon, they send you champagne to your room, they will upgrade your room (if available) and you will get a candlelit dinner on the beach. Unfortunately for us, it rained on the night of our candlelit dinner, but it was still a gorgeous place to eat! I have also stayed at the Occidental, which is in general a little more lively and I would say filled with more teenager types (we're 30). I preferred the Divi hands down to the high rise.
Aruba really is one happy island, and you will be back! Happy honeymooning, and best wishes on your marriage!

Rain in Aruba falls mainly over night and early in the morning. That is not to say you will not have a passing shower during the day however they are usually brief and generally last 10-20 minutes. We hardly ever leave the beach during a shower taking cover under a beach palapa or going into the ocean.

For a honeymoon you could consider the adult only Bucuti Resort or Marina Tower at the Renaissance. Another option for an upscale experience would be the Tradewinds Club at the Marriott.
