Question First Time Too To Aruba!

Hi everyone. My name is Sally and my family and I are going be going to Aruba for the first time as well from June 19-26. We are very excited. WE are staying at my uncles Time Share which is in the Marriott down in Aruba. Has anyone been to this resort before?
Is the weather cool at night? Should I bring as sweater? Is the atmosphere more casual?
I was thinking of bringing basic beach wear. tshirts, shorts, capris and then some sun dresses for evening. Does this fit the bill? Of course I will be bringing my water stuff as well. Bathing suits, water shoes ect.
Cant wait to go!

Average low temperature this time of year is 80 degrees F.
A sweater would only be needed for a chill from air condtioning in restaurants, casinos etc.

Yes, resort casual. At night, nice shorts or capris and nice top or sundress for women, nice shorts and top for men.

Perfect. Unless you will be doing a lot of touring, do not pack too many daytime short/top outfits. If you spend your time on the beach during the day, just bathing suits and cover ups are needed.

Bring an extra bathing suit or two, they sometimes take a day or so to dry out because of the humidity. You will be tempted to hang them outside, but anything left outdoors that is not tied down will blow away.

Lastly, pack twice the amount of sunscreen you will need. The sun is super strong and you need to reapply often.
